Wilsonville 2008

This used to be a mental institution. Now they’ve torn it down and are replacing the whole area with condos and retail. There are brand new roads all over the area complete with bike lanes. But there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of people interested in moving to Wilsonville, or at least this part of it. It seems like building this kind of housing right now isn’t the best idea, but what do I know. I couldn’t afford new housing anyway.

Either way the race was fun. I dropped my chain on the first lap and knowing that it would happen again I just enjoyed myself. I ended up dropping the chain about five times total. And on the last lap after boosting off a little hip I came down and busted a flat. Game over.

Great race though. Looking forward to Rainier High tomorrow.

Alpenrose

This was the first race of the Cross Crusade season. The rain was misty during the singlespeed race, and pouring during the A’s. It was a good time had by most.

I’m trying out Picasa over Flikr. I like Google, and their photo thingamajig seems a bit smoother than Flikrs. I’m not sure how many sets or albums you can have without upgrading, but we’ll see how it goes. I’m just looking for a more user friendly (read: easy to use and maintain) solution than what I’ve been doing in the past.
