Man that sucks. I think we’re planning a Bend trip for late-ish November. Possibly camping, but the talk of a cabin with hot tub has been thrown around. I’ll keep you posted if you’re interested.

Sonofabitch. I worked a 15 hour day sunday and still have the sniffles from the stampede. And my MTB frame is still snapped from that weekend at Rickreall. Summer don’t leave yet!

what is up with C39′s locks? alls i can say is W-O-W, same forward, as backward. i hear ya about the sea/pdx sentiment. crushes me every time i’m there for work. happy when i hit rose soil.

Jealous! I’m guessing a lot of the cramping was lack of salt and protein based on the diet you list. I’ll give you the bacon sushi bar recipe next time…or maybe I’ll just come along.

Camping would have been fun for sure, but it was great to get a shower and sleep in my bed with my wife. 25+ mile recovery ride with Charles on Sunday helped me out too. Nice work! I remember that Deschutes park sign, but it was illuminated by car headlights by the time we got in to the finish!
